This week: Nike+ SportWatch
Keywords: watch of the week, nike, sportwatch, fitness watch
Nike launched this Nike+ SportWatch GPS earlier this year. Powered by TomTom, the watch maps the runner’s real-time location, displays the time, distance, pace and calories burned on its crystal clear monochrome screen. Featuring only three buttons for ease of use during runs, the watch works with the shoe embedded Nike+ Sensor to deliver accurate pace and distance data. Thanks to its USB connection the watch can be plugged into a computer to upload data at www.nikeplus.com, the Nike running community consisting of over 4 million members. The sites clean and easy to use interface helps runners keep track of their running history, monitor their runs on the map with color coded speed information, and share with their friends on the website.
One of the coolest features of the watch is the ability to simply tap the Screen to activate the backlight and track completed laps.
